Q: When is the 1st Annual Hope on the Horizon Gala?
A: Saturday, October 3 at 5:45pm.
Q: Where is it going to be held? How do I get there? Where do I park?
A: The 1st Annual Hope on the Horizon Gala will be held at the Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom entrance. The Purdue Memorial Union is located at 101 North Grant Street, West Lafayette. Parking is $8.00 per vehicle for self-parking or $18.00 per vehicle for valet parking. Both cash and credit card are accepted.
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: Tickets are $125 per person or a table of 8 for $1,000. Please note that while we try our best, we are unable to guarantee seating together for groups with individual tickets.
Q: What is the attire?
A: The attire for Hope on the Horizon Gala is black tie optional. Most men will be dressed in a suit and tie (tuxedo optional) with the ladies wearing cocktail/evening dresses.
Q: Do you sell tickets at the door?
A: Unfortunately, No. Tickets must be purchased by September 29, 2015.
Q: How do I/we become an event sponsor?
A: Many sponsorship opportunities are available. We need the support of our donors, local businesses and organizations through sponsorship. Sponsorship not only benefits COMMUNITY CANCER NETWORK, but it gives visibility for businesses through the sponsorship package options. Please see the Sponsorship Details for details.
Q: How can I contribute an auction item?
A: The Gala Auction Committee welcomes any donation to the auction. Donations of product, services and gift cards would be appreciated. We encourage you to be creative. Have questions about an item to donate? Contact us. Have an item to donate, visit our donate an item page above!
Q: What if I have to cancel?
A: Unfortunately, refunds are not issued for this event. If a cancellation is made with prior written notice of the event, the price of the registration or table will be considered a charitable donation to COMMUNITY CANCER NETWORK and a tax donation letter will be issued.
Q: I can’t make it but I still want to make a donation.
A: Sorry, we will miss you this year. You can make a donation on the registration page. Thank you in advance for your support.
Q: Is there a place to put my coat?
A: Yes, a coat check will be available.
